Eligibility Criteria for RRB TTE 2024
To qualify for the post of TTE in the Indian Railways, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or Intermediate exam, or completed a Diploma from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: The age of the candidate must not be below 18 and above 30 years. There will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST, respectively.

RRB TTE Application Fee 2024
To apply online for the TTE post under Indian Railways, candidates will have to pay an application fee. The fee amount is ₹500 for General and OBC candidates, which can be paid via debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI. Those who belong to SC/ST or PWD categories need to pay ₹250 only.
Selection Process for RRB TTE 2024
The selection process for the post of TTE consists of two stages – Computer Based Test and Physical Fitness along with Documentation.
Computer Based Test
- The test will feature 200 multiple-choice questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, Technical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and General Intelligence.
- Each question will carry 1 mark, and for any incorrect response, ⅓ mark will be deducted.
- Candidates will be given a time duration of 2 hours to complete the test.
