CRPF Constable Vacancy 2024

As per the notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, 129929 posts are to be filled for General Duty Constable posts for both males and females candidates. The complete category-wise CRPF Constable Vacancy 2024 will be released by Central Reserve Police Force along with CRPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Notification.

CRPC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Candidates who want to apply for the posts should have passed matriculation or equivalent from a board or university recognized by the central government or state government or equivalent army qualification in case of Ex-Army personnel.

Last month, the home ministry announced that former Agniveers will now get a 10% reservation in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) job vacancies. It has also announced relaxation in the upper age limit depending on whether they are part of the first batch or subsequent batches of Agniveers.

The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to five years for candidates of the first batch of former Agniveers and up to three years for candidates of other batches, the ministry said.

CRPC Age limit for direct recruits

The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 23 years of age to apply for the post. (Five years age relaxation in case of Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and three years in case of Other Backward Classes candidates).

Pay matrix

In this recruitment drive being conducted for Constable (General Duty), candidates appointed will get a salary between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Selection procedure

Candidates for the posts in CRPF will have to qualify physical efficiency test (PET) and written examination as prescribed for Constable (General Duty). However, ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from PET.
