- OBC or SC/ST applicants may have their upper age limits relaxed by 3 and 5 years, respectively.
- Departmental applicants up to age 40 who have completed three years of regular and continuous service may have the upper age limit relaxed. This concession solely applies to Central Government civil servants holding civil offices; it does not apply to employees of PSUs, autonomous/statuary organizations, etc.
- Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from their spouses but have not remarried are exempt from the age restriction up to the age of 35 for general applicants and up to 40 for SC/ST applicants.
